The City Mayor underscored the importance of the BNS. Mayor Lee said that everyone in the organization has to work beyond political leanings.

She also lauded and reiterated her commitment to the BNS additional Php 500.00 honorarium to commence January this year pending health board and Sanguniang Panlungsod concurrence.

Meanwhile, Sta Ana also emphasized that the Sorsogon City BNS is doing its best to achieve something in response to Mayor Lee's challenge to work beyond compliance. Sorsogon City ranked second in the recent survey released by thd DOH Regional Office among the Cities in the region with lesser malnourish children. Ranked one is Naga City, she concluded.
